You are free to make up your own mind, go your own way, choose your own gods or godlessness, and moral standards, but you are on your own path, with other people usually. God doesn't support standards other than His own. For your own sake you should research God's plan for you. Many claim to be Christians but still choose the god of the type and character that they would like to imagine they have, but if this does not meet the standards that God has set, and it won't if you are not worshiping the God of the Bible and Jesus, then you are lost and classed with the atheists and god haters.

Establishing the existence of God.
One way is to research the predictions in the Bible about the coming of the Messiah and how he would be treated so as to condemn the world for not believing in him, and also giving us gentiles (non Jews) the rights and access to God and his grace and forgiveness for our faults.

Also prophesied are the details of his second coming to restore the world and all life to the undamaged state that was originally created for mankind to enjoy. For God this will be like watching his creation enjoying themselves, just as you would get pleasure from watching your children/grandchildren or even other peoples children having fun at the beach or playground. As dog lovers without a dog we enjoy other peoples dogs for free. Many people watch the "soaps" on TV and get involved in the on screen lives of the actors, how they are messing things up and being stupid. How much more will God get pleasure from watching his children/creation behaving well and enjoying life to the full?

The Jews missed their opportunity, they were supposed to.
The Jews lump these two events of the Messiah together, and so refuse to accept that one has happened, even though it is obvious that some great spiritual event happened 2000 years ago that changed the moral outlook of those who believed, and eventually the laws and governments of many nations. The Jews have been kept for two thousands years to be reformed as a nation so God can play out the final stages that He had prophesied. He will bring many nations against Israel, and they will show much hatred, even indoctrinating their children to hate Israel and Jews, and lie like mad to discredit Israel and their rights to the land they formerly ruled. You can actually see this in the one sided media reports that put all the blame on Israel for defending themselves, but praise the Palestinians, even though they cause the trouble and refuse to recognise Israel's right to exist. They frequently declare that they will wipe Israel off the map and take all the land, Muslim maps don't show Israel, just claim it is all Palestine.

Christian nations under attack from within.
The so called "Christian Nations" are under attack from within, from atheists, humanists and evolutionists, because they want their freedom to deny God without being reminded that they will have to face up to God in the end. They have their own religious beliefs and insist in teaching their religion in schools/universities and even in many Seminaries, all the while claiming they are not teaching religion, but they get tax exemption because they are a religion. Evolutionists teach their unfounded belief based on forensic science while banning any true science from schools in case it shows up the errors in the evolutionary paradigm and discredits the Darwinian belief. The atheists are becoming more frantic, outspoken and abusive as they are gradually loosing ground, as Intelligent Design is becoming more widely recognised and accepted, Also the errors of the evolutionary belief and the claims of the Darwinian model have become so undermined by true science that they cannot find any supporting claims that have a hope of deceiving the public. As evolutionary belief is sidelined the Atheists have no supporting forensic science claims to ease their consciences.

What is actually seen?
Intelligent Design is what scientists, even evolutionary scientists, actually see, but it is not allowed in schools or universities since it would destroy the hold that evolutionists and humanists have over the students. Most students would quickly see that there must be some great power that created all of life, as random evolutionary mutations would never be able to produce the interrelated systems that all life depends on, such as the ATP motor, you have them in every cell of your body, and the Flagellum motors in bacteria. It's all or nothing since an evolving system would not support the other systems that depend on it working to its full potential, that it would eventually have, and must have at the start or the cell will fail. A nearly working Flagellum is a hinderance and may never be completed, since random mutations destroy much more than they could ever accidently make.

If you have been lead to believe that evolution is plausible you need to delve into the real science that is being discovered as scientists research deeper into the microscopic workings of single cells and the inter-related interdependent systems of life, and motors and free moving molecular machines that perform complex tasks at great speed.

In order to make a protein the instructions have to be read from the DNA. to do this a Promoter locates the starting point in the DNA. Then a free moving machine the RNA polymerase runs along the DNA and unzips it, makes a reverse copy in messenger RNA, then joins the DNA together again. the completed strand of messenger RNA is let loose then fed into the ribosome which is a machine which assembles the protein according to the three letter codes of the messenger RNA.
When the protein comes out it is string like, and free moving chaperones take hold of it at intervals to stop it folding and touching itself, as it would bind together wrongly and be ruined. It is then guided into a chaperonin machine which folds the protein correctly so it can perform its function. This takes a second or less to fold a protein.

There doesn't seem to be any connections to control these parts, they are like a well trained sports team, and quickly move to where they are required and perform their function. As the RNA polymerase runs along the DNA, the letters required to match the DNA code are like a swarm of flies being sucked unto the RNA polymerase in the right order as if the RNA polymerase is reading the code and calling for the correct letter, as there is no time to mess around trying to see which one actually matches its compliment in the DNA. Having been matched they are quickly separated off and stream out behind the RNA polymerase like a string.

The transfer RNA units move like a mass of team members chasing the ball and feed themselves into the ribosome engaging the messenger RNA's three letters in the right order then adding the amino acid at the furthest tip of the transfer RNA to the end of the protein being formed. Again there is no messing about trying to match the three letters on the messenger RNA, it seems to be read and understood so the correct transfer RNA fits immediately. There are 20 possibilities as only 20 amino acids are used in living things, though there are many more, including their right handed versions that can occur in chemistry outside of life.

There is a DVD which has this explained as near as possible to real life, though the components can be imaged they are so minute that they cannot be filmed in the process.

What happened in the past?
There are many ways to try to ascertain what happened in the past and it is important since how we got here indicates our purpose and the eventual outcome because of the decisions we make based on our belief of our origins. Forensic science gathers information and pieces of evidence and police try to work out what might have transpired. This is why it should be tried before a competent judge or jury, as the police may not have found key important evidence, or may be exaggerating the importance of some irrelevant data. The same problem exists in the claims of evolution, it needs to be tried openly in the public arena against scientific data. Forensic science is how humanists and evolutionists try to reconstruct the past and bias the evidence and assumptions to support only their belief, and adopt assumptions that seem to disprove the alternative.

Many scientists and school books explain that life cannot come from non-life, that is "spontaneous generation" but then to explain the existence of life they say that life must have evolved from some pre-life by a remarkable accident, "abiogenesis" must have happened once, and give hopeful theories, that have no scientific validity, and are usually well disproved, in the hope that people will accept stupidity without question, since it is stated authoritatively. Note that "spontaneous generation" and "abiogenesis" are actually the same thing, with textbooks claiming that life can only come from life. then claiming that life did come from non-life, backing it up with speculation, scenarios, myths, and just so stories! Their logic being that since we refuse to believe in an intelligent manipulative source for the construction of all life, and the programmed information in the DNA, then it must be an accident, and so we can avoid the reference to Intelligent Design or to God, and support only our atheistic religion. I see this as a deliberate attack on youth, to so demoralise them with the idea that they are just evolved "pond scum" (Richard Dawkins) so that they can be easily manipulated into all sorts of depraved activity, as they have no idea that there are morals for our guidance so that we will have a good standard of enjoyable life by avoiding the pitfalls that aimless, valueless purposeless assumptions of your life's value would lead us into. Hence free sex, prostitution, abortions, drugs and anything goes, no morals, no absolutes.

Research documents.
Another way is to research documents or engravings written in the past by those who were there and saw what actually happened or were informed by someone who had been there or close enough to actually know.

Predictions point the way.
There is also the predictive way of ascertaining what happened after the writing and perhaps still to happen in our future. An engineer might make a report that a bridge is badly designed as the supporting ground is too soft to keep it stable. Years later if the bridge fails because of poor ground support then the engineers report is validated as a prediction.

There are other predictions about people and nations given years, even thousands of years in advance, that are coming true in our time, and clearly revealed in the news media, without reference to the predictions. If such predictions come true then how could someone have known to write them down, perhaps hundreds of years, actually at least nearly 2000 years, before hand and why were the writings kept?

Isaiah the Prophet.
Isaiah wrote about what would happen when the Messiah came, what would be done to him, and how his life would end.

Isa 52:13 See, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.
Isa 52:14 Just as there were many who were appalled at him --his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and his form marred beyond human likeness--
Isa 52:15 so will he sprinkle many nations, and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand.
Isa 53:1 Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
v:2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
v:3 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
v:4 Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.
v:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
v:6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
v:7 He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.
v:8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away. And who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken.
v:9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.
v:10 Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand.
v:11 After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light [of life] and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.
